Behind the Curtain of Unboxable
I’m Cal – Sydney-based writer and communication professional. My journey across sectors and industries recently fed me to the heart of government in a two-year stint of blinding insight and credible truth. I felt the patterns of curated reality and watched what happens backstage when you hold up a mirror.
My platform Unboxable is solo and self-funded including everything I write, design and bring to life. I’ve been building this over recent months to create meaning while I break down the institutional shadow side. But it’s bigger than that. It’s a collective charge.
The truth I share might inspire, unlock, disturb and confuse people in equal measure. Sometimes I channel the street writer, other times the civic writer is more dominant. As for the documented, investigative sides – these accounts will be shared under protection and with intention, not reaction.
What my work sparks in you – intrigue, resonance, discomfort, deflection, cranky rant, panic to the PPs – will always be second to truth as a beacon for our collective treasure. I won’t rush to defend protected truth in the public interest while the clowns are hiding in the ball pit.
Neither should you.
